I couldn’t agree more. I do 30-minute workouts every day using the workout framework you mentioned. I'm glad to know I’m doing it right! Thanks for this, Dr. Luks.
Totally resonates. This mental strategy is what I used to a) challenge myself to a daily walk in June, regardless of duration; and b) get my yoga practice back on track. Am I seriously so busy I can't carve out 15-20 minutes somewhere in my day? No. No, I am not. In addition to benefiting the physical body, it's also very good for building discipline.
I have woken up every morning for months saying today I would start exercising. I am 60 years old and a lifelong athlete until a couple years ago when things fell apart. Today I got up and meditated for 30 minutes, walked the dog for 30 minutes, then saw your post and did 20 minutes. I have to get past being down on myself because exercise used to be so easy for me. So here we go. I cannot thank you enough. Having a clear and doable plan is so helpful!

Thank you I needed this today. Been traveling in a small rv for 4 wks. I have PG mostly in left lower leg with on & off pain.

So true, and it’s the best way to greet the day and build your body armor at the same time!
My PT tip to add in, get it done early🌅 fewer excuses and distractions why you can’t ‘fit‘it in!
It's a start but training volume is important to real lasting improvements
