Training beyond midlife

Plyometrics

We lose the abilities we don’t train. Many will view this and worry about tearing tendons and ruining joints. I hear this fear in patients’ voices all day in the office. We fear the risk of injury more than the risk of losing the ability to perform various moves. Research is clear here… the risk of injury is very low.

Working on quickness and power could help save your life one day. Falls are a leading cause of injury/death as we age. Being able to move quickly will allow you to prevent a stumble from turning into a fall.
